The Ministry of Interior auditorium will host a concert of Azeri pop music on September 19. Pop Azeri composer and singer Hashem Eslamian, known as Ayhan, will stage the concert in collaboration with three singers from Azerbijan Republic, namely Baloglan Ashrafov, Namiq Garachukhurlu and Elchin Huseynov. The concert starts at 9:30 pm. There have been numerous occasions of joint concerts by Iran and its northern neighbor, but according to Ayhan, it is the first pop music event by the two sides, Mehr News Agency reported. Ayhan leads a music band named Reyhan whose members will accompany the singers. The auditorium is located on Gomnam Avenue, north of Fatemi Square.
