Letters for the Dead

Farhang Cinema and Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) are showing ‘One Stop Ahead’ directed by Saman Estarki. In the film Abbas returns to the village where he was born after twenty years to spend some time resting there. The villagers learn that Abbas is suffering from a severe illness and will die shortly. So they write letters for their deceased relatives and ask him to take the letters to the afterworld with him, cinematicket.org reported. Duman Ashrafi, Zahra Soltani, Ali Taleshi, Fatemeh Mohamadi, Hafez Kahnamoui and Rana Elahehfar are in the cast. The IAF is located at Art Garden on Iranshahr St., downtown Tehran and Farhang Cinema is situated in Qolhak neighborhood, Shariati St.
