Musician, actor and painter Azarakhsh Farahani has set up a solo painting exhibition on modern urbanism. The ‘City Life Illusions’ exhibit opened September 8 at Atbin Art Gallery and will run through September 19, displaying 24 paintings created with markers on cardboard, Iran Art reported. “Modern urbanism has affected all aspects of life. Citizens are deprived of the most natural moments of life and thus resort to illusion intentionally or unintentionally. Illusion is the last way out for satisfaction of the needs ignored in city life,” says a note on the exhibit. Atbin Gallery is located at No. 42, Khakzad Alley, Valiasr Avenue, south of Parkway intersection. Visiting hours are 4 to 9 pm.
