A live traditional performance will be held at Arasbaran Cultural Center in memory of late Iranian musician and tar player Farhang Sharif (1931-2016). The commemoration ceremony is slated for September 9, starting at 7 pm. It will be attended by a group of veteran artists and musicians, Honaronline reported. Two renowned figures will speak at the event: composer Kambiz Roshanravan, 68, a recipient of First Degree Art Certificate from the evaluation council of the Culture Ministry; and scholar, philosopher and author Hossein Elahi Qomshei, 77, an expert in literature, art, philosophy, poetry and mysticism.
