A group exhibition of urban and street photography is underway at Theme Art Gallery. Titled ‘Urban,’ the exhibit appreciates urban life with its diverse aspects including residents and their stories, alleys and walls, noises of the day and silence of the night, according to Gallery Info. The exhibit seeks to highlight contemporary traits of urban life. Featured works are presented by 17 photographers. The exhibit is curated by photographer, author, filmmaker and photography instructor Kiarang Alaee, 41. ‘Urban’ opened September 1 and will run through September 9. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 pm. Theme Art Gallery is located at No. 10, Zebarjad Alley, North Nejatollahi Street, Karim Khan Ave.
