Verdi Operas

The Iranian ensemble of Bel Canto Symphony Orchestra will perform a repertoire of Italian operas at Vahdat Hall. Conducted by composer and conductor Nima Panahiha, the 48-member group will perform a number of operas by composer Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901), among a selection of other Italian operas, Ritmeno (ritmeno.ir) quoted Panahiha as saying. Verdi’s ‘Macbeth’ and ‘The Force of Destiny’ are highlights of the event. Panahiha spoke of woodwind instruments included in the arrangement for the upcoming concert slated for September 5 at 9:30 pm. Tickets are available at the website of Iran Concert (iranconcert.com). Vahdat Hall is located on Shahryar Blvd, Hafez Street, south of Enqelab Avenue.
