The latest wide release across Iran, ‘Searing Summer’ directed by Ebrahim Irajzad hit the screens on August 30. Irajzad’s debut film is about a woman who wants to get a divorce from her husband, but knows she will not be able to get custody of her six-year-old daughter if she separates. So, unbeknown to her husband, she takes her daughter and moves to an unknown location in Tehran. Parinaz Izadyar, Saber Abar, Ali Mosaffa and Mina Sadati are among the cast. Ten cineplexes and 14 cinemas in Tehran are screening the film including Azadi, Mega Mall, Mellat, Arg, Raga, Kian, Javan, Iran, Soroush and Bahman.
