A joint video game project has been launched between the Iranian development studio of Dead Mage Inc. and 11 bit Studios, a renowned Polish game developing company.

‘Children of Morta’ is a hack and slash game developed for the computer operating systems of Windows, Mac OS and Linux by Dead Mage Inc. and published this year by 11 bit Studios. The game is now at the Polish company to be customized for the game consoles of Xbox One and PS4, Mehr News Agency reported.

The story of the game is about the Bergsons, a guardian family who has watched over the mystical mountain of Morta for generations.

New platforms of the game are expected to be released in early 2018. ‘Children of Morta’ carries a 12+ rating. What makes the game special is its family-based theme.

As a family, the Bergsons face a challenging situation. Corruption has spread and the mountain they are living in has become home to horrible monsters.

Each family member has a unique fighting style. Players will experience what it means to be in a family of heroes. They take part in their journeys and fight through hordes of unfathomable beasts, exploring dungeons and the darkest depths of this ever-changing mountain.

‘Children of Morta’ offers both single player experience and the cooperative mode of two players.

Dead Mage Inc. is an independent game development studio focused on developing high-quality PC and console video games. The studio has been developing games since 2010. Its productions include games such as ‘Shadow Blade’, ‘Shadow Blade: Reload’, ‘Garshasp: the Monster Slayer’ and ‘Garshasp: Temple of the Dragon’.
