An improvised play is underway at Shahrzad Theater. It is about the Iranian cigarette brand named Bahman and also a man with the same name. The play is directed and funded by actor and theater director Mehran Nael, 36 who plays one of the four characters Other cast members are Mohammad Bahrani, Amir Soltan Ahmadi and Mehdi Shahpiri. All are experienced theater actors who created the play on the basis of improvised rehearsals. There is no special accessory on the stage. With their gestures the actors make up what they want. ‘Little Bahman’ opened September 1 and will run through September 11, starting at 9 pm. Tickets are available at tiwall.com.
