An exhibition of paleontological illustrations is to be held on the sidelines of the 4th Young Earth Scientists (YES) Seminar in Tehran.
The meeting of YES is slated for August 27-29 at the premises of the Organization for Geological Survey and Mineral Explorations of Iran (GSI) located at Meraj Blvd, Azadi Square. The showcase of the paleontological illustrations titled ‘Paleo-Art Exhibition by Mohammad Haghani’ will take place at Pavilion No. 3 of the venue.
There are 20 works at the exhibition, created by illustrator Mohammad Haghani, 37, with expertise in natural sciences, Tandis online magazine of visual art (tandismag.com) reported.
The upcoming seminar is focused on climate, environmental and geo-science challenges facing Earth. The event also seeks to help create professional and academic pathways for early-career geoscientists.
YES is an international association of early-career geoscientists who are mostly under 35 years and from universities, geo-science organizations and companies from across the world. YES aims to establish an interdisciplinary global network of individuals committed to addressing environmental challenges most countries are grappling with.
