Perception of Reality

Painter Nafiseh Sediqi has created a collection of stunning drawings with her pencil and put it on display at Assar Art Gallery. Her exhibition is called ‘Perception.’ It is her first solo show. “She takes on a self-expressive tone through improvised compositions,” says the note given on the exhibit. Tree trunks, branches and roots are drawn in full detail on cardboards. Sediqi thus displays how reality can be perceived, altered and re-invented through details, Gallery Info reported. ‘Perception’ opened Friday and will run through September 22. Visiting hours are 11 am to 8 pm. Assar Art Gallery is located at No. 16, Barforoushan Street, Iranshahr Street. The gallery is closed on Saturdays.
