A group of five Iranian photojournalists will present a photo exhibition at Silk Road Art Gallery in Tehran.

Titled ‘Podium One,’ the exhibit will open August 25, featuring a selection of photos taken by Javid Nikpour, Farzam Saleh, Mohammad Ali Najib, Payam Sani and Roshan Norouzi.

The group’s current focus is on sports and athletics that constitute the main theme of the exhibit, Honaronline reported.

Three athletic fields are documented at Podium One. Also on display are the wedding photos of Olympic gold-medal wrestler Gholam Reza Takhti (1930-1968). The collection is a compliment of Iran Images photo agency, based in Tehran. With a website at iranimages.com, the agency collects photos from across Iran, including on nature, architecture, documentaries and art.

Podium One will run through September 8. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 pm. Silk Road Art Gallery is located at No. 210, Keshavarz Blvd, across Laleh Park.
