Don’t Bother Borges

Va-Nagahan theater group has staged a magic realism play at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Tehran. ‘Do Not Bother Borges’ is the current production of the troupe, written by its leader Rouzbeh Hosseini and directed by Morteza Haqiqatbayan. The play is the story of a few young people trapped between a dream-like state and the imaginative writings of Argentine short-story writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986). ‘Do Not Bother Borges’ opened August 20 and will run through August 25. Hosted by Entezami Hall of IAF, the 50-minute play starts each night at 7 pm. The cast includes Ali Afshari, Soheyl Babai and Parisa Sanatkar. Tickets are available at tiwall.com.
