Shirin Gallery is hosting a group painting exhibition by 21 young artists titled ‘Narrative Painter 2’ curated by painter Farbod Morshedzadeh. A statement by the exhibit says Persian painting has usually been consistent with literature and often reminds the audience of a certain narrative line and a familiar story. The show is another effort to revive Iranian painting traditions, galleryinfo.ir reported. Artists include Elham Babaei, Zohreh Hosseini, Masoumeh Khodabakhshi, Soha Kabiri, Maryam Motazedi, Homa Malekian, Niloufar Naderi and Mahshid Madani among others. Works will be on show through August 23 at Shirin Gallery located at No. 5, 13th St., Sanaee St., Karim Khan Zand Avenue.
