Paintings on Cultural Exchanges

Exhibition of paintings by Iranian artist Azita Hedayati, who lives in Slovenia, will open at Persian Idea Art Gallery in Tehran on August 18.

She has exhibited artworks in Slovenia and Germany so far and this is the first time her paintings will be seen in Iran, Mehr News Agency reported.

Hedayati, 51, holds a bachelor degree in art. She lives in Kamnik, Slovenia. Her style is symbolism of Persian culture and European environment. Her works also focus on the cultural exchanges between the two nations.

Persian Idea Art Gallery was established in 2013. It seeks to support creative artists and create an environment conducive to the promotion of arts in the society.

The exhibit includes 12 works and will run through August 23. The gallery is located at No. 28, Allahverdy Azar Alley, Kolahdooz (Dowlat) Street, Shariati Street.
