The Bemani Short Film Festival, organized by non-governmental organizations, will be held on December 24-26 at Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran, said Morteza Ramezani, general director of the office for associations and NGOs at Iran’s Cultural, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO).
Films less than 30 minutes on issues such as cultural heritage, handicrafts, attractions, and rituals and traditions will be presented at the festival in either documentary or storytelling format, CHTN reported.
Morteza Ramezani said the festival is an opportunity to publicize the country’s rich heritage. The 30 nominated films will be screened on the documentary channel of national television as well.
