Rock Concert at Niavaran

Rock musician Kaveh Dowlatnia will stage a number of pieces from his successful album ‘Gol-e Mordab’ (Flower of Swamp) on Monday, July 10, at Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran.

“We’re going to perform 13 pieces at the concert, including some of the tracks from the album Gol-e Mordab,” Dowlatnia, leader of the performing band told Honaronline.

Starting at 9 pm, the concert will also feature other pieces with the lyrics based on the poems by eminent Persian poets such as Houshang Ebtehaj, 89; as well as 11th century poet Baba Tahir of Hamedan, and poet, scholar and polymath Omar Khayyam.

“We have rearranged the compositions to give the audience a more enjoyable experience,” Dowlatnia, 33, added.

Members of Dowlatnia’s band are drummer Shahram Naderi, Majid Amiri on electric guitar, Ehsan Yousefbeik on keyboard and Mohammad Mohammadlou on bass guitar.

Niavaran Cultural Center is located at the northern end of Pasdaran Street, across Niavaran Park.
