French Play ‘On the Dock’ at Gandom Theater

The play ‘On the Dock’ written by French playwright Alain Gras and directed by Iranian theater director Mohammad Ali Mahboubi is currently on stage at Gandom Theater in Tehran.
Rendered into Persian by Iranian translator Mahmoud Goudarzi, the play is about two clowns who miss the boat that was supposed to take them to the other side of the sea where “success was awaiting them.” Meanwhile, they discuss with each other their hopes, dreams and fears, victories and defeats.
Director Mahboubi also performs in the work beside Ali Saeidian, Mohsen Eidi and Fatemeh Rad, Tiwall.com reported.
The play will run through June 2 at the theater located at No. 2, Maragheh Alley, Villa St., Enqelab Ave.
