The New York branch of Shirin Gallery presented art works of 9 Iranian young artists in the art exhibition ‘Context’, the sister fair to Art Miami.

A total of 78 international galleries from 20 countries, with more than 460 artists from 43 countries brought the most promising cutting-edge, mid-career and established artists to Miami Art Week held from Dec 2 -7, Honaronline reported.

Iranian artists whose works were showcased included: Nima Behnoud, Shadi Yousefian, Mahmoud Hamedani, Farnaz Rabeijah, Iman Safaei, Mehdi Ghadianlou, Roshanak Aminelahi, Maryam Ghanbarian, and Amirnasr Kamgouyan.

‘Context’ is dedicated to the development and reinforcement of emerging and mid-career artists. In addition to its group of international galleries, Context featured a series of solo artist projects, curated spaces, special projects, conversations and events.

Art Miami is the leading international contemporary and modern art fair. It is one of the most important annual contemporary art events in the United States, attracting 72,500 motivated collectors, curators, museum professionals and art enthusiasts from around the globe.
