The Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS) is holding a workshop on May 17 to be conducted by Shahrzad Esfarjani, an expert in creative marketing and communications.

The publishing house of ‘Entesharat-Fanni-Iran’ based in Tehran, is hosting the workshop on “learning professional and complementary skills” in graphic design, online visual art magazine of Roozrang (roozrang.com) reported.

Titled ‘Emergency Stop,’ it will be held at the publishing house premises, located at No. 24, Mir Emad Street and starts at 4 pm.

Esfarjani, 56, is a writer, speaker and tutor in brand marketing strategy and creative communications. Clients call her a ‘brand storyteller,’ a person who leverages relationships, marketing techniques and non-traditional PR methods to secure business opportunities. Brand storytelling is the most effective way to connect with an audience.

Esfarjani is a storyteller for many Iranian brands. She is a business thinker as she develops some of the most innovative business solutions as well as educational materials, and pioneers executive and personal branding in order to reinvent a new corporate attitude.

She has studied, taught, coached, and connected with clients, colleagues, and young professionals for more than 20 years.

Participation in the workshop requires registration at the website of IGDS (graphiciran.com).

An introduction to the workshop says: “The meeting will discuss the increasing pace of today’s world of design and advertisement. The hastiness is reflected in every aspect of our lives and works, and there is a need for a pause and reconsideration at certain intervals.

Our hastiness is obvious. We’ve got no time, even for one moment, to stand still and look around and find out where we’re rushing to or what we’re busy doing.” What do we run for all along?
