‘An Awfully Beastly Business,’ a series of fantasy books for young adults, is now available in Persian.

Of this adventure fantasy series, written collaboratively by three British friends, six volumes are translated by author and translator Abbas Zarei, 35, and released by Sayeh-Gostar Publication based in Qazvin, IBNA reported.

An Awfully Beastly Business is written by David Sinden, Matthew Morgan and Guy Macdonald, all three living in Kent, England. The series, so far comprising 7 books, follows the adventures of a half boy, half werewolf named Ulf. He and many other endangered beasts live under the protection of the RSPCB (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Beasts), a society founded by the late and great Professor Farraway.

Zarei has translated the first six volumes, namely Werewolf versus Dragon, Sea Monsters and Other Delicacies, Bang Goes the Throll, The Jungle Vampire, Battle of the Zombies and The Big Beast Sale. Yet to be translated is the 7th book ‘Return of the Zombies.’
