The 2nd Biennial International Conference on Reading will be held at the University of Kurdistan, the largest university in Kurdistan Province, located in Sanandaj city.
The conference is slated for May 1-2 and the topics to be covered include literature, culture, information science, social sciences, psychology, education and pedagogy, LISNA (lisna.ir) reported.
Organized by the university, its main theme is ‘Lived Experiences, Theoretical Models and Practical Patterns.’
Scholars, researchers and graduate students have been invited to submit their papers on topics including, but not limited to, theories on reading and social institutions; reading and cultural institutions; family and reading; and reading in education system. Electronic and virtual environment and neuropsychology of reading are the other topics.
The deadline for submission of articles is March 15. The articles accepted so far can be viewed at the website of the event, conf.uok.ac.ir/readingconference2017. Additional information is also available. Registration deadline is April 24.
