Salar Aghili to Perform in Abadan

Persian classical and traditional singer Salar Aghili, 39, will travel to Khuzestan Province to perform a concert in the city of Abadan, near the Persian Gulf coast.

Like many of his earlier concerts, the upcoming performance is named after the singer. ‘Salar Aghili’s Concert’ is slated for March 12 at the International Expo Hall, located on Qayeqrani Blvd, Braim District, Abadan, according to musiceiranian.ir, a news website for Iranian music.

His famous patriotic song ‘Vatanam’ (my homeland) will be featured along with his other popular songs at the upcoming concert.

Producers of the event are Mohammad Kanani and Seyed Reza Mivechin who have previously produced concerts by artists such as traditional vocalist Ali Reza Qorbani, 45, pop singer Ehsan Khajeh Amiri, 32, singer, songwriter and actor Farzad Farzin, 35, composer, arranger, pop and rock singer, Sirvan Khosravi, 34, pianist, composer, songwriter and singer Babak Jahanbakhsh, 33, and guitarist, composer, songwriter and singer Mazyar Fallahi, 42.

Mojdeh Qasedak Arvand institute is organizing the event which is sponsored by Aquarium Café-Restaurant, located in the city of Khorramshar, 16 km from Abadan. Tickets are available at www.4047.ir.
