Iranian virtuoso pianist Fereydoun Nassehi will perform a piano recital on February 24, at the Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
Nassehi will play a selection of pieces composed by Austrian composer Franz Schubert (1797-1828), Polish composer and virtuoso pianist Frederic Chopin (1810-1849), as well as those by Russian pianist, composer and conductor Sergei Rachmaninoff (1873-1943), according to musicema.com, a website specializing in contemporary Iranian music.
The recital starts at 8 pm. Tickets are available at the website of Iran Concert (iranconcert.com). Niavaran Cultural Center is located at the northern end of Pasdaran Street, across Niavaran Park.
Fereydoun Nassehi is the son of acclaimed composer and trombone player Hossein Nassehi (1925-1977). He is a graduate from Berlin University of Arts (Universitat der Kunste Berlin, UdK), Germany.
