Tehran City Theater is holding a scientific seminar on the interrelation between creative drama and psychology, in joint cooperation with the Art Department of Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research.
Titled ‘Creative Drama, from Psychology to Drama,’ the seminar is slated for February 8 at 5 pm, at the theater’s Mashahir Auditorium located at the intersection of Valiasr and Enqelab avenues, Iran Theater reported.
Mir Ali Reza Daryabeygi, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Azad University, will present an article on creative drama, said scientific secretary of the event Erfan Pahlevani, who is a writer, playwright, theater critic, researcher and actor.
Daryabeygi’s presentation will be followed by a debate on the subject in which film director, documentarian and screenwriter Amir Hossein Nedaee and actor Ramtin Khodapanahi will participate.
Creative drama is an improvisational, non-exhibitional process-oriented form of drama, where participants are guided by a leader to imagine, enact, and reflect on experiences real and imagined.
