National Heritage Society to Honor Ehsan Eshraqi

The Society for National Heritage of Iran will honor senior historian and critical editor Ehsan Eshraqi, 88, at a ceremony on February 6 in Tehran.
The ceremony from 5:30-7:30 pm will be held at the society’s Motahari Conference Hall, located at No.71, Bashiri Street, Amir Bahador Bridge, Valiasr Avenue.
It will seek to acknowledge the valuable contributions Eshraqi has made to Iran’s culture during the past 60 years, according to the website of the society, anjom.ir.
Professor Ehsan Eshraqi is a fellow member of Academy of Sciences of Iran. For 20 years he presided over the History Department, College of Literature and Humanities at Tehran University.
