A collaborative design project on contemporary urban identity is underway at Mohsen Art Gallery in Tehran.
The exhibition of posters, books, catalogues, environmental designs, motion graphic designs and visual identities, opened on January 13 and will run through January 18, from 11 am-9 pm.
Titled ‘Metamorphopolis,’ it is a joint project that started in 2009 between the gallery and Studio Kargah, a design studio in Tehran, according to Roozrang magazine of visual arts (roozrang.com).
The curator of the event is graphic designer Aria Kasai, 37, who is a cofounder of the studio.
The gallery is located at No. 42, Mina Blvd, Nourbakhsh Street, Farzan Street, East Zafar Street, and the exhibit mark’s its seventh anniversary.
