Malek National Library and Museum Institution, affiliated to Astan Quds Razavi charity foundation in the holy city of Mashhad, capital of Khorasan Razavi Province, has added an English version to its website.
Non-Persian speaking researchers and Iranologists can use the cultural services offered by Malek library and museum, at the portal malekmuseum.org/en, according to its website.
The English edition has all the information presented in the Persian website, including manuscripts, calligraphies, coins and medals, stamps, paintings, miniatures, lacquer art, carpets, glasswork, woodwork, pottery, documents and decrees, photos, maps, journals and publications.
To see the documents and artworks, visitors can click on each of the collections mentioned above, or find them in a detailed timeline that starts with the Median period (728 BC) and ends with the Pahlavi dynasty (1979).
As the English website has been recently launched it will take a while to translate all the texts and descriptions from Persian into English.
Astan Quds Razavi is the administrative organization which manages the shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam and all the institutions that belong to the organization.
