The 14th edition of Academic and Professional International Book Fair opened on Sunday at the Central Library of Tehran University.
The event, organized by the Cultural Association of Foreign Publishers’ Representatives in Iran, will run through December 21, and the visiting hours are from 9 am-5 pm, ISNA reported.
It features 53,000 titles of foreign books in 14 categories of which 11,053 titles have been published in 2015; 7,524 in 2014; 4,519 in 2013; and 6,220 titles in 2016.
There are 17,000 titles in human sciences; 7,000 titles in technical fields and engineering; 9,000 in art; 7,000 in basic sciences; 9,000 in medical sciences; and 1,000 titles as reference books in English, French, Arabic, German and other languages.
Discounts between 10-70% have been offered on the various categories.
The books can be traced on the website of the Cultural Association of Foreign Publishers’ Representatives in Iran (www.anjomannasheran.com), and the list downloaded.
The Academic and Professional International book Fair is considered the second most important book event in Iran after the annual Tehran International Book Fair.
