The 13th edition of the International Conference on Public Relations (ICPR) will be held on January 8, 2017 at Tehran’s Olympic Hotel.
The conference theme is on ‘Science-Based Public Relations and Content Management.’ Scholars, PR professionals and specialists in communication studies and information technology will gather at the event to update their knowledge on various communication strategies.
The participants will introduce and discuss challenges, solutions and achievements in the PR sector, and in particular the recent emerging trends, according to the conference website irancpr.ir.
The conference will host PR and communication specialists from the US, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Serbia, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.
Mehdi Baqerian, secretary general of the conference, is head of the Iranian Association of Public Relations Professionals. Event scientific secretary Hassan Bashir is well-known as a specialist in the field of international communication.
Kargozar Public Relations Institute (KPRI), a leading establishment in introduction of modern public relations and international communication, is organizing the conference in cooperation with International Public Relations Association (IPRA), International Association for Muslim Public Relations and Communication Practitioners (IAMPRC) and Association of Public Relations Specialists (IAPRS).
The conference will include key speeches, competitive programs, distribution of the event’s special journal and articles.
Iran’s first International Conference on Public Relations was organized in 2004 by KPRI. The gathering has been held every year with the cooperation of colleges of communications and public relations organizations as well as state-run and private companies.
