The UN World Food Program (WFP) in Iran honored the head of the Niavaran Culture Center Abbas Sajjadi for his humanitarian activities.
The WFP representative in Iran Negar Gerami honored Sajjadi with a certificate of appreciation for ‘The Art for Humanity WFP Exhibition’ held in the cultural center in October, IRNA reported.
“The expo was an amazing event which can lead to expansion of mutual cooperation,” Gerami said.
The WFP exhibition, which opened on the World Food Day, featured 130 works by 100 prominent Iranian artists, in painting and other visual arts, including Abbas Kiarostami, Parviz Tanavoli, Parviz Kalantari, Mahmoud Farshchian, Mohammad Ehsaei.
