The Iranian Library and Information Science Association, (ILISA) in cooperation with Armook Institute of Education will conduct a training course on 'Introduction of Concepts and Standards in Security and Maintenance of Digital Libraries'.
The online course on three separate days will be launched on Armook's website (armook.ir) on September 3, 5 and 7. The admission fee is 400,000 rials ($11.3), the association website reported.
The concepts and standards included in the course will be introduced by Mitra Samiee, PhD, assistant professor and faculty member of Tehran's Allameh Tabatabai University, who heads the university's Knowledge and Information Science Department.
The ILISA will issue certificates for participants of the online course.
