On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Graphic Design Association (GDA) in the western city of Kermanshah on July 30, an exhibition of Polish posters was launched at the city's Mirza Reza Kalhor art gallery.

At the exhibit opening, a trophy designed by the Kermanshah GDA was presented to Radoslaw Sadowski, secretary of culture, science, promotion and press at the Embassy of Poland in Tehran, for the embassy's support to Kermanshah designers and holding the exhibition there, public relations office of the Kermanshah GDA reported.

Pointing to the previous exhibitions of Polish artists in Tehran and Isfahan, Sadowski said, "In this special project we are presenting works by modern designers in Poland and that is why the title 'New Polish Posters' for the event.

The ceremony was attended by a number of artists and cultural officials. There was also an artistic event on the following day in which graphic designers from Kermanshah took part.

Curated by the well-known graphic designer Parisa Tashakori, the posters are on display till August 7.
