The Asian Futsal Confederation (AFC) has named Iran’s Ali-Asghar Hassanzadeh as the best player of 2014.
This was announced in a letter sent by the AFC to Iran Football Federation secretary-general. The letter says: “The superb and impressive show by Hassanzadeh in the AFC Futsal Championship 2014 and the eight goals he scored, made him the most valuable player of the continent,” IRNA reported.
The AFC also said the prize for the best player of Asian Futsal will be sent to the Iranian Football Federation later this month.
Hassanzadeh has won several cups by playing in different local clubs as well as in the national team. At the moment he plays for Norilsky Nickel in the Russian Futsal Super League.
