Iran’s ‘Dastan’ music ensemble is slated to hold a concert in Vancouver, Canada on December 13.
The orchestra will perform compositions of vocalist Jamal Kordestani and composer Saeed Farajipour, IRNA reported.
Founded in 1991 by Hamid Motabassem, ‘Dastan’ is a traditional Persian music ensemble which has held concerts in different countries. The ensemble has performed at many cultural centers and festivals such as Fez-Festival (Morocco), Theatre de la Ville (Paris), and World Festival of Sacred Music the Americas (Los Angeles).
