An exhibition of artworks by artists from nine countries at Ace Gallery in Tehran concluded on Thursday.

Showing 73 works, the exhibition featured 17 international and Iranian artists working in a variety of art mediums including paintings, photos, sculptures and video art, ILNA reported.

The exhibit opened on May 20 in the presence of the Dutch Ambassador to Iran Susanna Terstal, the participant artists and Iranian artists.

Works of French painter Bertrand Peyrot, Danish photographer Julie Nymann and painter Mette Colberg, Dutch photographers Mattijn Franssen, Simone Engelen and painter Merijn Kavelaars, Chinese painter Hu Xing Yi, Russian painter Maxim Santalov, Iranian painter Sam Samiee, Surinamese painter Ruben Cabenda and a number of South African artists including painters Lehlogonolo Mashaba, Mia Chaplin, Mitchell Gilbert Messina, Mongezi Ncaphayi, Neo Matloga, photographer Lindokuhle Sobekwa and printmaker Olivié Keckare were showcased.

Each of the artists has shown their works in galleries and art centers in different countries in solo and group exhibitions,and has earned national and international acclaim.
