Workshop by Iceland Artist

Theater director and choreographer Bara Sigfusdottir from Iceland will hold a three-day workshop in Tehran during the 19th International Iranian Festival of University Theater (IIFUT), slated for May 14-28.
Focusing on the theme ‘basics of movement’, the workshops will be held at Entezami Hall, Iranian Artists’ Forum, Honaronline reported.
The artist will stage her recent solo performance ‘The Lover’, in the Performance Experience category of the IIFUT, on May 19.
Born in 1984, Sigfusdottir has studied at the Icelandic Academy of Arts, the Amsterdam School of the Arts and at P.A.R.T.S., the school of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker in Brussels, where she focused both on training, movement research and choreography.
This year’s edition of the festival will also host theater workshops by other foreign artists, including Italian actor and author Christina Valenti, and adjunct professor at School of Arts, Humanities and Cultural Heritage of Italy, Enrico Pitozzi.
