IYCS Sends 4 Short Films to France

Four short films produced by the Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS) have been submitted to the 37th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, France.
The four productions have been sent for primary evaluation at the international competition section of the festival, IYCS public relations announced.
The films are: ‘Cloudy Children’ by Reza Fahimi, ‘The Return Season’ by Abbas Amini, ‘Cut’ by Reza Jamali, and ‘Silence’ by Mehrdad Hasani.
The festival is the world’s leading event dedicated to short films. It is held annually in Clermont-Ferrand and is the second largest film festival in France, after Cannes, in terms of audience and professional attendance, boasting over 100,000 attendees annually, since 1995.
The festival is slated to be held January 30-February 7, 2015.
