Turkish cultural figures, officials of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization and the Iranian Embassy in Ankara, besides Iranian artists and local enthusiasts of Persian art and culture, attended the opening ceremony on Feb. 6, IRNA reported.
Iran’s Ambassador Alireza Bigdeli stressed the importance of expanding ties with Turkey, considering it is “one of our major partners in different fields.” The cultural attaché, Hassan Safarkhani, was present.
The musical band ‘Hamraz’ presented a few pieces, and students rendered hymns that were appreciated by the audience. Iranian handicrafts and artworks are also on display during the week. The event runs through February 12.
