Impressionism Style Paintings

A painting collection, titled ‘VPNology’, by Iranian artist Baran Azad is on view at Shirin Art Gallery in Tehran.
The exhibition presents an insight of the artist on impressionism style, through the contemporary world, in acrylic paintings on canvas, Honaronline reports.
It thematizes the digital world, with an eye on the global Information Technology (IT) revolution, which “is speeding up in Iran.” The title is derived from the virtual private network (VPN) that extends a private network across a public network, such as the Internet.
Paintings are featured in two sections. The first includes works of art inspired by an Iranian identity and the second are set in Paris. In addition to the paintings, a video art is also displayed at the exhibition.
The ‘exhibition will run through February 10 at the gallery located at No.5, 13th St., Sanaee St., Karimkhan Zand Avenue.
