Iranian short film ‘Red Dream’ has been selected for the 7th Sofia MENAR Film Festival.

‘Red Dream’ has bagged several international accolades: screened at the 7th Annual Iranian Film Festival, San Francisco; conferred a Diploma for Humanism from Ukraine’s international children’s television festival, as well as an entry at Albania’s International Film Festival for Children and Youth Audience, IYCS public relations announced.

Sofia MENAR Film Festival presents the best of Middle East and North Africa cinema productions including feature films, documentaries and short projects. It seeks to make Bulgarian movie goers familiar with the culture and traditions of the Islamic world. A lot of accompanying events are organized within the frames of the festival. These events are particularly selected and bound up with the countries of the region, representing traditions and customs of the ethnic groups that inhabit its lands.
This year, the festival will be host to more than 70 world, European or regional premieres from almost 20 countries.
The 7th round of the festival is slated for January 15 - February 1, 2015.
