APA Group Exhibition

The Alborz Painters’ Association opened a group painting exhibition and sale at Tehran’s Zemestan gallery on Thursday.
Over 42 works in various styles of real, surreal and expressive by numerous young artists are on sale, with price tags from $135 to $2700, Honaronline reported.
The event aims “to identify young creative and talented artists and provide a favorable ground for amateurs and motivate them in their professional careers,” said Saeid Mohammadzadeh, head of the association.
The collection includes works by professional artists and amateurs who have the potential, he noted, adding that associations like the APA, can help young artists by providing them support through such opportunities.
Mahnaz Baran, Samaneh Bayat, Niloufar Pirzad, Rouzbeh Haqgou, Sara Heidari, Saeid Hossein, Zahra Khodabendelou, Mohammad Fattahi and Maryam Honari are among the numerous artists whose artworks are on display.
The exhibition will run through February 2 at the gallery at Honar Garden, North Shahid Mousavi St., Taleqani Avenue.
