A total of 25 abstract oil paintings of the Lebanese artist Shokrollah Fotouh are being showcased at Fine Arts Museum in the cultural historical complex of Saadabad, Tehran.
Fotouh was born in Byblos, a Mediterranean coastal town in Lebanon and spent his childhood in the town until the age of ten while his mind was under the influence of the sun’s golden rays on the surface of the sea waves which created beautiful colors and shapes.
The artist ended his professional education with excellent results in Lebanon’s Fine Arts University. So far, he has participated in several globally recognized festivals individually or in groups. Also he has become a global artist by holding numerous exhibitions all around the world.
Abstract is a style that doesn’t depict a person, place or thing in the natural world - even in an extremely distorted or exaggerated way. Therefore, the subject of the work is based on what you see: color, shapes, brushstrokes, size, and scale, IRNA reported.
Art enthusiasts can visit the exhibition from October 26 for a week, every day from 9 AM to 5 PM, expect Mondays.
