An exhibition of photos by Polish photographer Magda Hueckel opened at Tehran’s City Theater on December 14, on the second day of the cultural event ‘Days of Polish Theater in Tehran.’
The exhibition titled ‘Watching the Ghosts, Photography of Human Bodies and Poland’s Theatre Through the Lens of Magda Hueckel’ includes 34 photos of the best Polish plays staged in and outside the country between 2010 and 2015, Mehr News Agency reported.
Polish Ambassador Juliusz Jacek Gojlo and Ali Moradkhani, Iran’s deputy culture minister, were present.
Born in Gdansk, Poland, Hueckel, 37, is a photographer and stage designer who graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, where she specialized in photography and set design. She also studied at the Bratislava Academy of Fine Arts and Design.
