Austria President at Iran Pavilion in Book Fair

During his visit to the 15th edition of the international book exhibition in Vienna, the Austrian president was also a guest at the Iranian publishers’ pavilion.
According to the Institute of Iranian Cultural Fairs, Heinz Fischer visited the pavilion and got acquainted with the activities of Iranian publications on the last day of the exhibition, IQNA reported.
Referring to the artworks by eminent Iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian showcased, Fischer described them “as being among the most precious and interesting artworks in the contemporary era.”
Iran’s participation in the exhibition provided an opportunity for Austrians to get to know Iranian culture, civilization and arts.
The Austrian leader also referred to his recent visit to Tehran and said, “The rich cultural potentials of Iran are an important factor in developing and strengthening cultural relations between the two sides.”
A book titled “Iran, the Land of Peace Among Divine Religions’” was presented to Fischer.
Iranian publishers are attending the book fair for the third time. The four-day event concluded on November 15.
