‘Illusion’ Goes to Brazil

The short animation ‘Illusion’ from Iran has been accepted at the international professional animation competition of Anim Arte Festival in Brazil.

The 2-minute animation is the story of a man who suffers “from pride and delusion,” and distances himself more and more everyday from people around him.

The story is written by Mohammad-Reza Hanafi, who is director and as well as producer of the work, ISNA reported.

Since the beginning of 2014 till now, ‘Illusion’ has been screened in several film festivals including America Phonix Film Festival, Australia Short Sharp Film Festival, America Jaxon Film Fest, America Machinima Expo, and America Festimation: Animation + New Media Arts Festival.

Anim Arte patronizes short animation films made by children and youth. The maximum duration of each film is 15 minutes.

The festival will be held October 21-30 in Rio de Janeiro.
