Folklore Art in Calligraphy Painting Exhibition

Arash Golzari-Hosseini’s calligraphy painting exhibition ‘Iran Folk Art’ will be held at Shiva Art Gallery in Tehran, September 16-22.
His latest exhibition will showcase 15 works depicting the artist’s feelings towards his surroundings, Mehr News Agency reported.
Golzari-Hosseini says the aim of the exhibition is to make people more familiar with Iranian symbols in virtual arts. It is his second calligraphy exhibition following an exhibition in Istanbul last year.
Important artistic figures will be attending the exhibition opening including calligraphy painting masters Ali Shirazi, Javad Bakhtiari and Nasrollah Afjehi.
Earlier in June, he displayed one of his collections on the theme of wildlife at the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO.
Golzari-Hosseini began his career in 2002 and has so far held 45 individual and group art exhibitions across the world.
