‘Ranna’s Silence’ at Brussels Children Film Festival

Feature film ‘Ranna’s Silence’ by Behzad Rafiee will compete in the 9th edition of Belgium’s International Children’s Film Festival ‘Filem’ON’, in Brussels.
The movie has been screened in various national and international festivals including the 2015 edition of Sharjah International Children’s Film Festival in the UAE as well as the 22nd Dusseldorf Children’s Film Festival–KinderKinoFest in Germany where it won the top award.
It narrates the story of a seven-year-old girl who lives in a village in northern Iran, and her pet hen hunted by a jackal on a rainy night, Mehr News Agency reported. Filem’ON, October 1 to 7, will screen 80 short and feature films along with animations and documentaries for children aged between 2 to 15.
