National Mothers Film Festival Postponed

The first National Mothers Festival of Film and Photo, which was slated for July 28-31, has been postponed.
Due to the great enthusiasm evinced by artists and filmmakers, the policy making committee of the festival decided to hold the event on August 16-21 in Tehran, IRNA reported.
The festival secretariat has received over 1,000 works. “For better evaluation of the entries, more time is needed to carefully scrutinize the films and photos to choose the best works,” said the public relations office of the festival.
Well-known Iranian television and cinema actress Fatemeh Gudarzi is festival secretary.
