Gold for Iranian Female Shooter

Najmeh Khedmati, Iranian shooter won the gold medal for the Women’s 10m Air Rifle competition at the 2015 Universiade (World University Games) underway at Gwangju in South Korea.
It was the first gold for the Iranian sports squad at the event, reports IRNA.
Athletes from the Czech Republic and Serbia came second and third, respectively.
Earlier, Khedmati had won the first gold medal for the Iranian team at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
The 28th Summer Universiade opened on July 3 and will conclude on July 14.
